Today we would like to introduce you to Ms. Sarah-Beth Alexander, our Special Education Teacher. Ms. Alexander has been with Benton Harbor Charter School for 10 years. She earned her BA in Elementary Education at Andrews University, and her Masters in Special Education at Western Michigan University. With her love for continuing education Ms. Alexander is currently working on her second Master’s in Educational Leadership also at Western Michigan University.
Ms. Alexander’s dedication to her students and the staff goes above and beyond. Your will always find her working one on one with her students, offering services to the staff member in the building, or even willing to cover the front desk to answer phones if need be. If there is a function going on at the school, trust me, Ms. Alexander will be there participating.
Ms. Alexander has developed the school’s strong parent volunteer group. Also she oversees the Power Parenting Unv. Program.
In her spare time you will find Ms. Alexander spending time with her daughter. They love hanging at the beach, shopping and eating at their favorite spot, Wings Etc.
