When someone you know becomes part of our community, then you are part of our family. We serve students knowing that it takes a village to raise a child. We do not take our role in this responsibility lightly and are privileged to serve such a diverse community at BHCSA. There are about 540 students in grades preschool through eighth-grade. We are committed to providing the best academic programs and personal growth for our students.
At BHCSA every single student is important and every single student has the ability to thrive. Our staff includes over 25 teachers, paraprofessionals, custodians, food service workers, transportation staff and administrative staff who all work with students to achieve high academic and social standards.
We promote skills in self-advocacy so that students are prepared for high school and beyond. We work to make each day engaging and aspire for each student to develop personal and community responsibility through service.
Our learning approach is to offer a balanced instructional program in a team setting that emphasizes academic integrity while making the connection as students develop social skills. We need active parent participation and teamwork among our families, students and staff for the success of our students.
We are a family with common goals of achieving high academic standards, providing a safe community and building character to prepare kids for active and thoughtful participation in the world around them. We are committed to supporting innovation, creative thinking, intellectual curiosity, academic excellence, and thoughtful change in the growth of students.
Thank you for trusting your students to us. We are lucky to partner with you.
